Title:
"Mrs. Blake Notice Board"
- Date:
- 1910 - 1935
- Description:
- This hand painted lanternslide shows the "Mrs. Blake Notice Board" on the Arlington-Wardsboro road. In the foreground of the image, the ground is open and covered with pebbles, larger rocks, broken branches, and tree roots. There are also several leafy plants growing in the area. In the background, there is a wooded area with deciduous and coniferous trees. A wooden sign tacked to a large tree reads "Near Here Where Mrs. Blake Froze To Death 1820." There are two crosses drawn on the sign as well. It appears to be summer.
