Town:
Unknown
County:

State:
Vermont
Date:

Description:
This image is a screenshot from a movie made using actual footage from the 1927 flood. The clip of the movie that this shot came from is prefaced with the caption, "One of the Central Vermont Railroad's bridges washed out completely. The steel bridge can be seen in the riverbed." There appears to be a city or town along the river or lake to the left in this photo. The bridge has been washed out and so has much ground around the bank of the railroad bridge. Note the tracks leading away to the right and the trees in the foreground.
