Title:
"Even the Night Shall be Light About Thee"
- Date:
- 1986
- Description:
- This winter 1986 issue of Vermont Life features of woodcut by Sabra Field. The image was taken from the center panel of a triptych entitled, "Even the Night Shall Be Light About Thee" (Psalm 139). The woodcut depicts a line of leafless, deciduous trees across a vast, snow-covered field. A modest farmhouse sits at the far edge of the field. A forest of trees grows behind the farm house, and hills and mountains rise in the distance. A sunset glows on the horizon, and the lights shine in the windows of the tiny house.
