This historic image shows Addison House in Middlebury. In the foreground, there is a grassy lawn with several deciduous and coniferous trees and a dirt path. Further back there is a wooden fence followed by more grass and dirt paths. Addison House is in the center of the photograph. It is a three-story, brick building with a gable roof, multiple chimneys, and a cupola. There are several covered porches on the visible elevations of the building, and signs reading "Addison House" are posted above the entrances.
