Aerial view across the Winooski River to the downtown Montpelier area. In the center-left portion of this photograph the State House can be recognized by it's dome shape and pillars. River is visible with two railroad bridges as well as automobile bridge and dam. Industrial, commercial and residential buildings can be seen in this view. Sprawling hills covered with trees can be seen behind the town as well as before the river. Many streets and roads are visible in this photograph. Parking lots filled with automobiles seem to fill the town.
