1930s
The boyish look of the 1920s quickly gave way to a soft, graceful feminine look for the 1930s. Sundresses, swimwear, backless sun tops, and sleeveless blouses freed up the feminine figure, but, by the end of the decade, WWII rationing placed new restrictions on clothing styles and production. Men's fashions, on the other hand, did not change remarkably during the 1930s.
