Women's Hats

Women's hats of the 1930s were more varied than the 1920s but still fit relatively close to the head and titled to the side.

The successor to the cloche hat was a flat-brimmed hat tilted to one side, concealing one eye and one ear.

A basque beret was worn slantwise such that half the head remained bare.

By the late 1930s, heading into the 1940s, hats were acquiring a boxy look.
