The historic image shows a photograph of Ascutney with drawings on it. The photograph shows a dirt road through a residential neighborhood in town. There are trees and picket fences around the houses. A handwritten title at the bottom of the image reads, "Ascutneyville, Vermont." The drawings on the photograph include the entrance to a "Subway to Boston," an electric car or train with the words "Springfield 1323," a tour bus with "seeing Ascutney" written on it, a train to Windsor, two blimps, and a hot air balloon.
