- Date:
- 1950 - 1960
- Description:
- This image shows a bird eye view of the Summit House on top of Mount Mansfield. There are several different buildings scattered around the cleared area with are a few people visible around the buildings and outcrops surrounding the buildings. There are some cars and trucks parked in the parking lot in the foreground. The road to the summit house is to the right and behind the buildings. The area surrounding the summit house is covered with a forest mixed with both conifers and deciduous trees. There are leaves on the trees so it is most likely summer.
