- In the current photograph, a paved and painted road still indicates lane options, while new traffic lights dictate traffic flow. On the right side of the photograph, the sidewalk is still lined with grass; however, the strip of grass is narrower. In place of the grass, new lampposts, signs, and granite guardrails are present. Across the road, more cars are visible along the streets; however, instead of large deciduous trees, only small deciduous trees are following the street into the background. Allen House appears in good condition (the wood siding has been replaced by vinyl, and the roof is now asphalt), with all architectural features still observable. 475 Main Street is now clearly visible in the background, with many of the large trees that surrounded it now appearing to be gone. The season is late spring. UVM Campus
