Description:: The current picture shows a large wire fence separating the campus green from the construction area in front of Aiken in the foreground. Here, construction crews, who are working on the installation of new water pipes, are manipulating large piles of sand and gravel with backhoes and bulldozers. Behind the construction upon the hill, sits Aiken, with windows now in place. Unlike in the original photograph, large shrubs and trees grow around the front of Aiken, which obscure the view of the bottom of the building. The season is summer. UVM Campus
