Description:
This photo shows the "old" Guptil road covered bridge in Waterbury located along Route 100. On the upper right of this photo shows the old farm at 99 Kneeland flats road. On the middle left is the barn which now houses the Tangle Woods restaurant. Along side of the dirt road you can see old utility lines which might have been used for power/phone. There is wooden fencing acting as a guardrail leading up to and out of the covered bridge. In the far back of the photo you can see the vast Worster Mountain range. Running under the covered bridge is the Thatcher brook witch runs from Waterbury center through Waterbury and into the Winooski river. A few other wooden structures are visible in the background.
