35 Colchester Avenue
- Date:
- 1891 - 1925
- Description:
- On back of original photograph, "35 Colchester Ave, torn down, former presidents house to right out of view." This is a photograph of a large wood framed house sitting on a residential street. In front of the house are large deciduous trees and a driveway. The driveway is cut by a sidewalk, and enters on to a paved road. Two utility poles can be seen in this photograph, one in the foreground (left side of photograph), and the other stands opposite the first. Around the house the property is decorated with various plants and shrubs, as well as some flowerbeds closer to the house. Surrounding the property are various other commercial and residential buildings. Directly behind the house the Perkins Building and its smokestack can be seen. Season summer.
