Title:
35 Colchester Avenue from Behind
- Date:
- 1920 - 1940
- Description:
- On back of original photograph, "35 Colchester Ave, torn down, former presidents house to left." This photograph shows the backside of a wood framed house. In the foreground dirt roads intersect, at a large grassy mound where a utility pole stands. The grounds behind the house appear partially mowed, with the back part of the meadow appearing overgrown. Shrouding the house are large deciduous trees (mostly elm's) with a row of fruit trees separating the property between this house and the former presidents home. The back of the house appears to be an addition added on after the house was originally constructed. Across the street from the house another wood-framed dwelling can be seen.
