A View From University Place
- Date:
- 1925
- Description:
- This historic photograph looks Southwest down University Place, where the Billings Library (Student Center), Williams Science Hall, and Old Mill can be seen. In front of these buildings is a small green, cut by sidewalks and lined by large elm trees and shrubs. The road appears made of gravel, with some erosion visible along the sides. Across University Place is the University of Vermont Main Campus green, which is lined with utility poles and large elm trees. More of the city of Burlington is visible in the background. The season is spring. UVM Campus
