Description:: This historic image is of flood damage next to the White River Railroad in Gaysville. There is a dirt road leading up to houses on top of a hill in the background. To the right of the image is a large two-story wooden frame building that could be some type of railroad station since it is located directly next to the railroad. There are two smaller buildings to the left of the large building that appear to be residential. The railroad runs through the middle of the image and seems to be undamaged by the flood, aside from possible soil creep from underneath it. In the foreground, there are many large logs that were probably fallen trees from the flood and have been cut down to make logs. In between the logs there are many smaller branches and cobble sized sediment. The season is fall.
