This photo was taken of Bristol Village during the fall of 1978 looking east towards Hog Back Mountain. Notice Mt. Abraham Union High School in the foreground. The school is located on what used to be the Bristol Airport. Notice the old hangars in the lower right of the picture which are used to store school buses today. Mt. Abraham Union High School was opened in 1968. The buildings on the north side of Main Street can be seen in the upper right of the picture. The hillside in the distance is densely forested with trees in full fall color.
