- Date:
- 1927
- Description:
- This photograph shows the 1927 flood's effects on Middlebury. In this image you can see that Otter Creek has overran its banks and has flooded several houses. To the left and right side of the image, there are a few houses. On the far right, there is a brick building. The wooden-framed house next to it has a porch and multiple chimneys. The water has easily come up to the houses' foundations. Throughout the image there are several leafless deciduous trees. The season is fall.
