Title:
1923 Fire in McIndoe
- Date:
- 1923
- Description:
- The charred remains of a fire are smoldering in what appear to be the cellars of the pre-existing buildings. Stone and brick foundations are still visible in the remains, as are some household items. A charred limbless tree stands in the middle of the remains. Above the remains there are a few buildings. Trees and utility poles are also visible. A man and two teams of horses with carriages stand close to the buildings. In the background there is a mountain. Dave Warden writes on 2010-04-30: 1923 McIndoes fire was in the center of the village, by the junction of road leading to Monroe NH
