- This image shows a sign for the Craftsbury Outdoor Center in the foreground. Several inches of new powdery snow are on the ground, and two sets of ski tracks cut in front of the sign and continue up and towards the left, where they intersect with a road. The sign reads, "The Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Meals & Lodging. Office." The sign is white with black lettering and includes photo of a lake (Hosmer Pond, we can infer). The sign hangs from a cedar frame, which has several inches of snow accumulated on top. In front of the sign is a small stump. Directly behind the sign is a cluster of coniferous trees. Behind and to the left of the sign is a birdhouse with several inches of snow on top. Even further behind and to the left is a white building, one-story, with half a dozen windows and a simple A-line roof. Surrounding the building there is another cluster of coniferous trees. The sky is grey and overcast. Due to the depth of snow, we can infer this photo was taken in mid-winter.
