Bird's eye view of village and open fields

Title:
Bird's eye view of village and open fields
Town:
Strafford
County:
Orange
State:
Vermont
Date:
1890 - 1920
Description:
The historic image shows a view of the village in a valley from a nearby hill. There are a couple of houses and some farm buildings in the foreground of the image. There are more buildings in the background of the photograph, including a church. The landscape is a combination of open fields and forests. Gwenda Smith writes on 2006-12-17: This is not a view of Strafford village but of a group of houses about one mile north on the road to Tunbridge; the village, with Town House, is in the distance.
