Title:
Boar Statue
- Date:
- 1910 - 2005
- Description:
- This image shows a statue of a boar on a stone foundation. There is a house, a lawn, and a driveway across the street from the warthog. A stone embankment is along the right side of the front yard. There are a few small plants and deciduous trees in the image. The vegetation suggests the season is either fall or spring. Bobbi Brimblecombe, Town Clerk writes on 2005-6-22: This picture looks like the statue of a pig that sits on a street corner in Lyndonville. That statue is the subject of high school pranks every year on the eve of the St. Johnsbury Academy/Lyndon Institute football game. See http://www.shoresmuseum.org/boar.htm
