Bridge Connecting Burlington and Winooski
- Date:
- 1929-10-21
- Description:
- This historic photograph taken in 1929 shows the bridge connecting Burlington and Winooski. In the right of the frame at the corner of the street one can see Potvin's Economy Grocery advertising Coon's Ice Cream, Salada Tea, cigars and cigarettes, and fresh milk daily. Next-door the Socony gas station is visible offering motor oil and gasoline. Looking over the bridge one can see buildings in the distance, making up Winooski, as it once was.
