Description:: This image is a screenshot from a movie made using actual footage from the 1927 flood: This image is from a clip of the 1927 Flood Movie that begins with the caption "Trees along the river edge laden with debris, even to the top branches" and further captioned "Caught in midstream." This image shows a broken wooden barrel which must have gotten caught in these top tree branches after being carried there by the high flood water. This barrel marks the high-water mark for this area. The water in the picture is only flowing at a trickle. Several other trees and riparian zone vegetation is visible.
