This is a photograph of the small park in Waterbury Center in the early 1920’s. The photo was taken from the parking lot of what is now TJ’s, across from where Slack’s Store used to be. There are very tall deciduous trees in the grassy park and nothing else. There is a small shack that is no longer there and an electric car is parked next to it. There are utility poles in the photo and a dirt road in the foreground. On the far side of the park houses can be seen.
