Title:
1910 topo map of Bristol showing street
- Date:
- 1910
- Description:
- Topographical map of Bristol done about 1910 showing all the streets in the village and town with locations of buildings existing at the time. Note that Mountain St does not yet connect to East St, and that Carlstrom Rd. doesn't come out at the Tin City bridge as it does today, but comes out at the Harvey Rd. In almost 100 years note how some roads, small district villages, and buildings have completely disappeared. Surrounding towns are also partially visible including New Have, Monkton, Straksboro, Lincoln and Ripton. Major features of the landscape include, South Mountain, Hogback Mountains, New Haven River and Bristol Pond.
