Title:
Bird's Eye View of Town
- Date:
- 1907 - 1915
- Description:
- A caption at the top of the historic image reads, "Birdseye View, Williamstown, Vt." The image shows a view of town from a nearby hill. There are several houses in the middle of town. Church steeples are visible above trees on the right side of town. There are industrial buildings in front of an eroding hill slope on the left side of town. The area could be used as a gravel pit or some other type of mining operation. An elm tree is visible near the center of the photograph. The landscape on the hills around town is a combination of open fields and forests.
