Description:: This image shows open fields and partly forested hillslopes with a horse racing track in the foreground. The horse racing track surrounds a large field that is bustling with people. A hot air balloon looks to have just taken off. There are several white canvas tents within view and many horse-drawn carriages. A couple wooden structures stand at the far end of this field, along the track. One of them is a bandstand. Dwayne Garfield writes on 2007-02-13: This would have been at St. Johnsbury, The fair did not come to Lyndon until early 1930"s
