Title:
College Street Congregational Church and College Street Ravine
- Date:
- 2006?
- Description:
- This photograph documents the College Street Congregational Church from College Street in Burlington Vermont. The church is a large stone building made from dolostone (tan), limestone (grey), and slate (red roofing). Conifer shrubs surround the front of the church, while small deciduous trees surround the sides. Behind the church is Memorial Auditorium, and the adjacent parking area. To the left of the church are a mixture of trees and residential dwellings that make up the city of Burlington. Running in front of church is College Street, which is one lane, and lined with automobiles. Both sides of the street appear to have small grassy berms planted with deciduous trees; while the far side of the street also appears to have a sidewalk, utility poles, parking meters, and a solitary pedestrian.
