Description:: The photo shows an aerial view of the construction of Interstate 89 between the Winooski River and the railroad tracks. A few houses and farms are on the floodplain. Note the patches of snow on the edges of fields. Skip Flanders writes on 2010-01-03: This photo is in the town of Middlesex at the location of the Exit 9 interchange. In the upper right of the picture is the location of the former Middlesex School now the Vermont State Police Barracks and the State Public Records Building. The Middlesex Gorge in the Winooski River is on the far right of the picture.
