Stephen Fiedrich writes on 2008-01-07: This photo is of two boys snowshoeing through a field; given the title, they are most likely in the boy scouts; both are wearing jeans and one has no gloves. They appear to be running with the snowshoes. The terrain is hilly and there is a ridgeline in the background with a mix of conifers and deciduous trees on it. There appears to be deep snow covering the ground indicating that it is the middle of winter or early spring. The sky is a typical overcast winter sky but it is still fairly bright out. The two men' facial expressions show that they are exerting a lot of energy as they move over the snow. They are using older model, gut and wood, snow shoes.
