- In the new picture, we can see that the only building visible now is the Old Mill, all other being covered by vegetation. Cars are parked on the street that exists in front of the academic buildings. Also the paths have been rerouted throughout the green and are lined by lampposts. A bench is also present in the green space. Deciduous trees are planted within the green as well as large conifer trees. Season in the newer of these photographs is summer. For more information on the buildings of UVM visit www.uvm.edu/campus. UVM campus. Loona Brogan writes on 2005-9-8 that you can see in LS00064 that the statue is Lafayette, from the walking posture of his statue and the fluting of the pedestal. He was moved and Ira Allen's statue was put there at some later date.

University Place from southwest of the Green

- This image is a photograph of University Place and the UVM Green covered with snow on a sunny winter day. The picture was taken from the S. Prospect Street and shows the Billings Student Center, Williams Hall, and Old Mills. Trees are dispersed on the green and there is a couple people walking on a walkway. Lampposts and emergency call boxes are also dispersed on the green, outlining the walkways. Many trees were removed enabling graduation ceremonies to take place on the green. To the left of the patch of trees the fountain can be seen. A street sign is posted in the center of the photograph and in the background a UVM direction sign can be seen amongst the trees.
