Title:
Angell Lecture Hall
- Date:
- 2005-06-28
- Description:
- The current photograph documents Angell lecture hall, which sits on the large open area adjacent to Votey. Angell hall is a structure made of brick and cement that was added to the UVM campus in addition to the Cook Physical Science Building. Not only was the green space cleared for Angell, but also for a central common area that is made of concrete and boxed in by numerous deciduous trees. This area has benches for sitting, and appears to be ill maintained and overused. A lamppost is still visible in this photograph, however the row of lampposts has since disappeared. Adjacent to Angell the parking lot appears to have been removed, as well as the large deciduous Elm tree located by Billings Student Center. Campus looks much less foliated, with only young tree species present. Season summer. For more information on UVM and UVM buildings check out www.uvm.edu/campus
