Description:: Even though the re-shot photo does the historic photo justice, a precise re-shoot was unable to occur, due to the building of the Burlington reservoir. In the current photograph, some of the original pasture remains; however, the one directly behind the house has now become a paved parking lot (with an adjacent sidewalk and streetlights.) The only changes that have occurred to 194 South Prospect have been the removal of the two rear chimneys, and some work on the porch. Currently large deciduous trees surround the house, and the large house with the distinctive roof can still be seen in the background. The season is late spring. UVM Campus

Description:: Back of historic photograph reads, "Mary Crafts Hill, and Nathan Hill House (194 So. Prospect)." Two overgrown fields are in the foreground with a large house in the distance. These fields are bordered by a wire fence and contain a variety of small shrubs and fruit trees. In the yard of the house is a small white tool shed and flagpole. Large conifer trees surround the house. A large house with a distinctive roof is visible to the left in the background. There are no leaves on the deciduous trees and a light dusting of snow suggesting the season is fall. UVM Campus
