- Description:
- The current photograph is of Wills dormitory. Chittenden and Buckham were built identical but are now connected. In the foreground, the land is raised up on a terrace. Large conifer trees block most of the view of the dormitory. It is a four-story brick building. On the left side of the building, the four stories are visible. On the right side of the building, the two-story window above the entrance is visible. Fletcher Allen Health Care Center is in the background on the left and Converse Hall is behind Wills visible over the left side of the building. Conifer and deciduous trees are visible behind the dorm. The changes are minimal because the historic image is an architectural drawing. The land in front of the dormitory is raised. The trees are taller. The buildings behind the dormitory may or may not have been present at the time of the drawing. The artist may have chosen not to add them to the concept drawing. UVM Campus.

- Description:
- The architectural firm of McKim, Mead and White in New York did this drawing from 1946. It is a plan for the dormitories of Chittenden, Buckham, and Wills. It is titled "Dormitory for Men." The building is a four-story stone structure with marble or other stone accents along the roof and corners, these serve to separate the building into three sections, and in between the first and second floors. There is an entrance at either end of the building that emerges from the faéade of the building. Above each entrance is a porch with an iron railing. The window directly above each door is two stories tall. The sketch includes small shrubs and trees in front of the dormitory. Behind the dormitory are large trees. UVM Campus
