Old UVM bookstore
Town:
Burlington
County:
Chittenden
State:
Vermont
Date:
2007-05
Description:
Here is another view of Royal Tyler Theater with the blocked off old parking lot of the old bookstore on the right side of the image. The barricade along the side of the old UVM bookstore is really the only change that can be noted in this image because the bushes and trees are in the exact same places that they were in all of the images taken before this one. Except that the informal path is in a different location.

Royal Tyler with Brick Building and Greenhouse
Town:
Burlington
County:
Chittenden
State:
Vermont
Date:
1920 - 1950
Description:
This image is a view from the corner of University Place and Main Street on the University of Vermont campus. This historic image shows a one-story brick building with has a small entranceway on the left and a chimney off the roof. There is a greenhouse off the back of this building, which has a brick foundation. There is a second building to the left of the first, which is another farm building. This farm building has a lightning rod off the top of the tallest roof and another section of roof that overhangs the left side of the building and acts as an awning. In front of this building, utility lines are strung to a wooden pole. Behind pole there is a third building which is a tall brick building that has large arched windows and entranceways down the whole side of the building. A patch of conifer trees is visible behind the greenhouse. The season is most likely summer. UVM Campus
