Title:
Back of UVM Bookstore
Town:
Burlington
County:
Chittenden
State:
Vermont
Date:
2005-06-21
Description:
In the more recent photograph, a precise re-shoot was not possible; however, other photos indicate that the courts were located near the site of the University of Vermont Bookstore or Royal Tyler Theater. This photograph shows a few cars the parking lot behind the bookstore looking north to the previous location of the tennis courts. With the Bookstore, Bailey Howe Library, and Marsh Life Science the area appears to have changed quite drastically since the time of the historic photograph. In the middle of the photograph, a woman stands in the parking lot talking on a cell phone. The season is summer. For more information on UVM and UVM buildings check out www.uvm.edu/campus UVM Campus

New student center and old bookstore
Town:
Burlington
County:
Chittenden
State:
Vermont
Date:
2007-05
Description:
This is a view of the old parking lot for the old bookstore at UVM. Now, where all the parking was for the bookstore is gated off and surrounded by caution tape. There is a view of the Davis Center above the roof of the old bookstore, but as you can see by the fences surrounding the area, there is no parking for either place.
