Alburg-Rouses Point Bridge

Description:: This aerial photo was taken of the new Alburg-Rouses Point Bridge from over New York State looking easterly towards Alburg, Vermont. This bridge crosses Lake Champlain on US Route 2 between Alburg, VT and Rouses Point, NY. Notice the old railroad trestle crossing the lake to the right of the highway bridge. The westerly end of the trestle in the foreground is being utilized as a marina for boats. Notice the remains of Fort Montgomery on the lake in the left side of the photo. Windmill Point in Alburg is just out of the photo on the right.
