State:

The two-story, wood-frame, gable-roof house, which appears to have been constructed in the late 18th century in the Federal style, is situated slightly off to the left side of the photograph. The façade is arranged symmetrically is angled towards the right. A small, one-story wing extends off the left side of the house. Two large, mature, deciduous trees, ablaze with orange leaves, grow directly at the front of the house. Leaves little the narrow front lawn. A poured-concrete sidewalk passes by the property. The man pushes a lawn mower along the inside edge of the sidewalk. A tiny patch of the road is visible in the lower right corner of the photograph. Shrubs and deciduous trees, still green, grow behind the house. All rights reserved, copyright Vermont Life Magazine. Contact Vermont Life at editors@VermontLlfe.com
