"Old 494" Outside a Farmhouse

Description:: In this image, a steam-powered engine, known as "Old 494," is being moved through a grassy area in Hartford. The engine is on a specially designed cart with ties and rails on the bed. The cart has writing that reads "J.M. Giddings, Industrial, Heavy Hauling". The truck pulling the cart has writing on the door that reads "J.M. Giddings [illegible] Springfield, VT." A man in a suit and cap is standing next to the engine. The land in front of engine is covered in grass. Behind the engine, there is a two story wooden house with a gable roof. Multiple men in overalls are standing outside the house. There are also two large deciduous trees with buds on them. In the background, the land slopes gently upward, and two men are visible sitting a ridge and looking down at the scene below. The hillside is covered in grass and shrubs.
